Durante la tercera jornada de<a href=\"https:\/\/www.infarma.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Infarma Madrid 2026<\/a>Los expertos explicaron que esta herramienta no s\u00f3lo se presenta como un recurso asistencial \u00fanico, sino que tambi\u00e9n se plantea como una actividad sostenible dentro del modelo actual de farmacia. El debate fue moderado por <strong>Elena Manso<\/strong>, vocal en funciones de Formulaci\u00f3n Magistral del Colegio Oficial de Farmac\u00e9uticos de Madrid (COFM), quien destac\u00f3 la creciente relevancia de esta pr\u00e1ctica en el \u00e1mbito profesional farmac\u00e9utico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En un entorno marcado por la presi\u00f3n sobre los m\u00e1rgenes, la necesidad de diversificaci\u00f3n y la b\u00fasqueda de nuevos servicios profesionales, la formulaci\u00f3n supone una oportunidad real de posicionamiento y rentabilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfFormular es rentable?<\/strong> Con esta pregunta empez\u00f3 Edgar Abarca, farmac\u00e9utico y profesor de Formulaci\u00f3n de Medicamentos Individualizados en el Grado de la Universidad San Jorge (USJ), su ponencia. Sin embargo, la respuesta, lejos de ser un simple \u201cs\u00ed\u201d o \u201cno\u201d, abre una perspectiva m\u00e1s amplia. Porque, en realidad, no se trata s\u00f3lo de formular o no formular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan este experto, &quot;da igual si tienes laboratorio o no. Ya est\u00e1s dentro del negocio. Tanto si elaboras f\u00f3rmulas como si las derivas a otra farmacia, la formulaci\u00f3n magistral te afecta directamente. <strong>La clave no est\u00e1 en fabricar, sino en entender el ecosistema y saber c\u00f3mo posicionarte dentro de \u00e9l<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los puntos clave que se abordaron en la ponencia fue que &quot;la formulaci\u00f3n magistral no es \u00fanicamente un proceso t\u00e9cnico, sino un ecosistema en el que participan m\u00e9dicos (que prescriben y colaboran), farmac\u00e9uticos (que gestionan y asesoran) y pacientes (que reciben soluciones personalizadas y se fidelizan). Todos forman un sistema en el que cada uno. <strong>La formulaci\u00f3n magistral une a estos tres actores y genera relaciones duraderas y rentables y, sobre todo, es una herramienta estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong>\u201d, tal y como resalt\u00f3 este experto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde la experiencia real en farmacia comunitaria, el mensaje est\u00e1 claro: la formulaci\u00f3n act\u00faa como un elemento de diferenciaci\u00f3n profesional en un entorno cada vez m\u00e1s tensionado por el precio y la competencia. Permite recuperar un espacio propio basado en el conocimiento, personalizaci\u00f3n y resoluci\u00f3n de problemas que la industria no cubre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Diego Marro, experto en negocio farmac\u00e9utico y comunicaci\u00f3n profesional en salud, explic\u00f3 que &quot;en t\u00e9rminos econ\u00f3micos, el impacto es tangible. La formulaci\u00f3n aporta una rentabilidad directa, con m\u00e1rgenes ampliamente superiores a los de un medicamento de especialidad equivalente. El paciente de formulaci\u00f3n presenta un ticket medio mucho m\u00e1s alto que el cliente habitual de mostrador, pero tambi\u00e9n aporta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&quot;El paciente de formulaci\u00f3n no es un paciente cualquiera. Es un perfil complejo -cr\u00f3nico, pedi\u00e1trico o dermatol\u00f3gico- que necesita seguimiento, confianza y soluciones a medida. Y cuando encuentra respuesta, no s\u00f3lo vuelve, sino que recomienda, conf\u00eda y ampl\u00eda su relaci\u00f3n con la farmacia&quot;. &quot;La f\u00f3rmula no es el negocio\u2026 es la puerta&quot;. A partir de ah\u00ed, seg\u00fan Marro, se construye una relaci\u00f3n de valor que trasciende la dispensaci\u00f3n puntual: m\u00e1s consejo, m\u00e1s servicios y m\u00e1s v\u00ednculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incluso para aquellas farmacias que no elaboran f\u00f3rmulas, el mensaje es igualmente relevante. Detectar necesidades no cubiertas, colaborar con farmacias formuladoras y establecer circuitos de derivaci\u00f3n permite participar activamente en este modelo. No estar en este circuito, advierten, s\u00ed tiene un coste: perder visibilidad, posicionamiento y pacientes de alto valor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambos expertos coinciden en que &quot;las farmacias que quedan fuera del ecosistema de formulaci\u00f3n no s\u00f3lo pierden una l\u00ednea de ingresos, sino tambi\u00e9n visibilidad, posicionamiento y pacientes de alto valor. La posici\u00f3n en la red importa m\u00e1s que la capacidad t\u00e9cnica de fabricar&quot;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe destacar que el mercado de la formulaci\u00f3n magistral en Espa\u00f1a crece a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o y permite recuperar un espacio propio basado en el conocimiento, personalizaci\u00f3n y resoluci\u00f3n de problemas que la industria no cubre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a las barreras reales, subrayan que &quot;la falta de tiempo, el desconocimiento t\u00e9cnico, la inseguridad o la ausencia de relaciones con prescriptores&quot;. Ante esto, se plantean soluciones pr\u00e1cticas y aplicables desde el d\u00eda siguiente: identificar pacientes susceptibles, tejer alianzas con formuladores y comunicar activamente el valor del medicamento individualizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, Abarca insisti\u00f3 en que &quot;la farmacia del futuro no se define por lo que tiene en el laboratorio, sino por el lugar que ocupa en la red sanitaria de su entorno. El posicionamiento estrat\u00e9gico es hoy la ventaja competitiva m\u00e1s duradera&quot;<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, concluy\u00f3 que &quot;la formulaci\u00f3n magistral no es una moda ni una especialidad de nicho. Es el regreso a la esencia de nuestra profesi\u00f3n: conocer al paciente, entender su necesidad y ofrecer una soluci\u00f3n \u00fanica, personalizada y de valor. Esto es farmacia. Esto es lo que nos diferencia&quot;.
