En este caso, el estudio se enmarca en pacientes que padecen esta patolog\u00eda asociada a causas tales como un \u00edctus, el envejecimiento o enfermedades neurodegenerativas. As\u00ed pues, el an\u00e1lisis del estudio determina una mejora en la eficacia y seguridad de la degluci\u00f3n, disminuyendo la posibilidad de penetraciones y aspiraciones, acortando a la vez la respuesta orofar\u00edngea, aumentando el movimiento del hioides.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A finales de agosto de 2010, los resultados obtenidos fueron presentados y premiados en\u00a0<em>Joint International Meeting in Neurogastroenterology and Motility<\/em>\u00a0 celebrado en Boston, donde se pudo demostrar que la adici\u00f3n al cuenco alimentario con estos compuestos naturales ayuda a prevenir la posible aparici\u00f3n de neumon\u00edas en los pacientes que padecen disfagia.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Aunque es necesario analizar con mayor profundidad cu\u00e1les son los efectos a largo plazo, los<em>capsaicinoides<\/em>\u00a0se presentan como una alternativa terap\u00e9utica v\u00e1lida hacia los trastornos ocasionados por la disfagia, puesto que los par\u00e1metros observados del estudio son superiores frente a otros tratamientos ya existentes.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Autores del estudio \u201cEvaluaci\u00f3n videofluoresc\u00f3pica del efecto de la capsaicina en pacientes con disfagia orofar\u00edngea\u201d: Laia Rofes, Pere Clav\u00e9 y Civit, Olga Viridiana Arreola Garcia.
