Es por eso que el <strong>Colegio ha organizado este mediod\u00eda una conferencia dirigida a los farmac\u00e9uticos sobre el uso de los complementos de la alimentaci\u00f3n en estos per\u00edodos<\/strong>, y en la que se ha dado respuesta a las consultas y dudas que llegan a la farmacia.<\/p>\n<p>El acto ha ido a cargo de<strong> Francisca Molero<\/strong>, ginec\u00f3loga y sex\u00f3loga, directora del Instituto Iberoamericano de Sexolog\u00eda, directora del Instituto de Sexolog\u00eda de Barcelona y coordinadora del M\u00e1ster de Sexolog\u00eda Cl\u00ednica y Salud Sexual (UB), y ha sido moderado por <strong>Anna Bach<\/strong>, vocal de Alimentaci\u00f3n y Nutrici\u00f3n del COFB.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante saber que la alimentaci\u00f3n de la madre, incluso desde antes de la gestaci\u00f3n, desempe\u00f1a un papel fundamental para favorecer un mejor estado de salud materno-infantil.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14084\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14084\" style=\"width: 353px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.cofb.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/conferencia-nutricio-maig.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14084\" alt=\"conferencia-nutricio-maig\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.cofb.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/conferencia-nutricio-maig.jpg\" width=\"353\" height=\"221\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14084\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Francisca Molero y Anna Bach<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Unos h\u00e1bitos de vida saludables, adem\u00e1s de una dieta adecuada y un adecuado control de la gestaci\u00f3n, son importantes para conseguir un buen pron\u00f3stico en el embarazo y la lactancia<\/strong>. As\u00ed, una buena alimentaci\u00f3n ayuda a reducir las molestias frecuentes y el riesgo de enfermedades en la madre y el beb\u00e9.<\/p>\n<div class=\"box shadow\">\n<p>Durante el embarazo aumentan los requerimientos energ\u00e9ticos, prote\u00ednas, vitaminas y minerales. En ocasiones la dieta no es suficiente y es necesario recurrir a complementos.<\/p>\n<p><b>Complementos m\u00e1s destacados recomendados para mujeres embarazadas y posparto:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>\u00c1cido f\u00f3lico<\/b>. Nutriente esencial que interviene en la s\u00edntesis del ADN y las prote\u00ednas. Previene la espina b\u00edfida y otras consecuencias. 2 o 3 meses antes de concebir, se recomienda una dosis de 0,4 mg\/d\u00eda y una ingesta rica en folatos por aquellas mujeres sin antecedentes; si existen factores de riesgo para esta lesi\u00f3n (antecedentes, epilepsia en tratamiento con carbamazepina o \u00e1cido valproico, tratamiento con metotrexato, diabetes mellitus u obesidad) la dosis debe ser de 4-5 mg\/d\u00eda al menos un mes antes de la preconcepci\u00f3n , y durante, al menos los 3 primeros meses.<\/li>\n<li><b>Yodo<\/b>. La OMS dictamina que el d\u00e9ficit de este elemento es la primera causa, despu\u00e9s de la inanici\u00f3n extrema, de retraso mental y par\u00e1lisis cerebral evitable en el mundo. Se trata de un nutriente esencial para la s\u00edntesis de hormonas tiroideas. En Espa\u00f1a, entre el 30 y 50% de las embarazadas no consume las dosis diarias de yodo recomendadas, con grandes variaciones seg\u00fan distintas zonas geogr\u00e1ficas. Sociedades cient\u00edficas recomiendan la suplementaci\u00f3n con yodo durante todo el embarazo y la lactancia con 200 microgramos m\u00e1s de lo recomendado en poblaci\u00f3n general (205-300 microgramos en total). Durante la lactancia es necesario continuar con estos complementos porque aumentan el coeficiente intelectual en m\u00e1s del 10% seg\u00fan el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msssi.gob.es\/eu\/biblioPublic\/publicaciones\/recursos_propios\/infMedic\/docs\/vol34n4_Suplementos.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sistema Nacional de Salud<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hierro<\/strong>. Deficiencia nutricional m\u00e1s frecuente en el embarazo, y en el segundo y tercer trimestre se puede dar un balance negativo en el que no se llegan a cubrir los requerimientos a trav\u00e9s de la alimentaci\u00f3n. Se recomienda durante este per\u00edodo 30 mg.\/d\u00eda de hierro elemental, equivalente a 150 mg. de sulfato ferroso o 300 mg. de gluconato ferroso. En el caso de la lactancia, 15 mg.\/d\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li><b>Calcio<\/b>. La poblaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola alcanza los niveles recomendados. Se recomiendan unos 1.000 mg.\/d\u00eda (equivalentes a 3 raciones de l\u00e1cteos). Alimentos y complementos que contienen calcio pueden reducir la absorci\u00f3n de hierro, por lo que conviene tomarlos por separado.
